Amazon is a favorite place to shop online.
You will find almost everything on the site, as well as many ways to save.
Many people are unaware that Amazon can pay you instead of just using the site for shopping online.
Here are 5 of my favorite ways to earn money with Amazon.
1. SELL ITEMS FROM YOUR HOME
One of the best ways to make money with Amazon is to market items from your own home. You might have clothes, shoes or toys. It might be easier to list the items online than trying to sell them in person or at a garage sale.
Although it’s more difficult to sell items on Amazon than other sellers, you can reach a wider audience. Selling on Amazon successfully requires you to use high-quality pictures and specific keywords to ensure that people searching for your item can find it easily.
Amazon may have a professional photographer that you can use in your listing if you are selling a particular product, such as an iPhone. Amazon typically charges a small amount ($0.99 per item) for each item that you sell. Be realistic and think about the fees.
You will need to upgrade your seller account if you plan to sell more than 40 products each month. I will discuss this in more detail in my next point.
2. BECOME A THIRD PARTY SELLER
You should consider upgrading to an Amazon seller account if you intend to sell items frequently and turn them into a business. It costs $39.99 per month.
People who sell thrift store clothes on Amazon every month, make coffee mugs, and sell sports jerseys. You can also earn more if you list more.
Consider the Fulfillment by Amazon service (FBA) if you are going to sign up as a professional seller account on Amazon.
Instead of having to ship every single order you receive manually, you can use FBA, which allows Amazon to pick up items you’re selling at your home, store them in their warehouse, and ship them for you whenever you receive an order.
This will save you a lot of time that would have been spent in the post office if you are selling multiple items each month. FBA is also pay as you go, so you are charged for storage space for the orders that are fulfilled. The cost of shipping is also included in your fees, so you don’t have to worry about it when you make a sale.
3. BECOME AN AMAZON AFFILIATE
You can also promote Amazon products if you don’t want to sell items on Amazon. You have an audience if you have a website, blog, or manage an online forum.
You may enjoy recommending quality and useful products to others. Amazon will pay you to do so. To read the guide to Amazon-sponsored products, then get to work.
Amazon Associates is a way to earn up to 4-10% of the purchase price by directing customers to buy the product.
Amazon Associates doesn’t require you to be an expert car salesman in order to make money. Consider what your audience needs and what they will need in order to make it a priority.
If you own a podcast and have many listeners interested in starting their own podcast, you could create a tutorial guide to help them through the steps of starting one.
When you mention the equipment you use, you can use an Amazon affiliate link, so if anyone purchases something, you’ll get a commission for referring them. Bottom line, you’re helping people learn something, being honest, and catering to their interests.
Of course, when you promote something, whether it’s written content, audio, video, or even a Facebook post, you must disclose that you are an Amazon affiliate and will earn a small commission if they purchase anything you recommend in the content.
4. GET PAID FOR COMPLETING TASKS VIA MECHANICAL TURK
Amazon Mechanical Turk is a well-known site that has been around for many years. You can earn money by performing short tasks called ‘HITs’. These tasks do not require any special skill or equipment, as long as you have basic computer skills and a computer that has internet access.
You may be required to do data entry, transcription, or verification. Although the pay is not enough to allow you to quit your job, it can be a relaxing way to make extra money when you have some spare time.
5. CUSTOMER SERVICE JOBS
Amazon allows you to work as a customer service representative. You can apply for any position that is available during the holidays. Amazon recently hired a relative of mine.
You can find seasonal, part-time, and full-time customer service jobs as well as remote opportunities. Check out the current positions here
